Trosa, Sweden: Not Women’s Underwear

In a bid to retrain my brain, C and I went to Trosa on a short day trip. This little town has a lot of charm, and to my great amusement, it also makes for fun word play as well.

  • Trosa, the underwear, is one pair of ladies panties/underwear/briefs. The plural, for two or more pairs, is trosor.
  • Also see the Trosa website in English.
  • Interestingly, Trosa is also the name of an addiction and substance abuse (drug) rehab center in North Carolina. The things you learn during Internet trolling..
Trosa city hall. Or library. Or maybe both. Only 5000 or so people live here.

Walking around the town of Trosa. Still have not found any underwear. But plenty of red houses.

The sun came out after a morning of snow and grey skies.

A local resident. Still no underwear. Better go to Stendörren to look for it.
